LANDING 3yo Gelding Trainer: Gai Waterhouse
The undefeated gelding made it another win on the weekend but this time at Group class by winning the South Pacific Classic for 3yo’s over the 1400m. Gai has definetely found another Group 1 galloper here how far he stretches out to is yet unknown but one thing for sure is he is a horse to follow wherever he goes.
Possible Spring Target: Epsom Handicap, Emirates Stakes, Cox Plate.
PAGO ROCK 4yo Gelding Trainer: David Hayes
Should have won at Caulfield on Saturday, got locked away from the inside alley and kept running into dead-ends in the straight and still only finished 3 lengths off them. Brad Rawiller’s ride on him wasnt one of Brad’s greatest but I’m sure he had a good feel of him. If he stays here in melbourne he’ll win next start, He’s got the makings of a potential Group 1 horse after all David Hayes didnt buy him from Peter Moody for nothing. Keep an eye where he goes next.
Possible Spring Targets: Toorak Handicap, Railway Stakes and Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes.
